Effective investment decisions

A holistic strategy for long-term growth!

To enable HANSA-FLEX to meet its ambitious goals and respond to new requirements, the historically evolved structures are to be renewed in the dimensions of technology, organisation, processes and governance.
The Blueprint integrates different concepts, reduces interfaces, improves communication with clarity in the organisation and thus forms the basis for effective investment decisions. Always with the goal of cost-effectiveness: In the future, the IT team should be able to deliver more output with the same team size.

Christian Hans Bueltemeier Hansa-Flex

"ICB competently showed us perspectives beyond the box, developed an effective cloud-based concept and implemented it with our specialists. Especially in 2020, this concept helped us a lot."

The Digital Workplace as the basis

One of the most pressing issues was a comprehensive reorganization of communication and collaboration technology. Instead of renewing the e-mail and telephony solutions individually, as initially planned, both projects were combined and a collaboration platform was designed as a solution based on Microsoft Office365. The challenge was to take into account the heterogeneity of users from Bluecollar to management. For this purpose, 220 employees at three locations from 13 departments were interviewed and 51 concrete use cases were distilled from them. This paved the way for the project.

"The introduction of Office365 was a very good decision," summarizes IT manager Jürgen Kaemena today. The Digital Workplace has proven itself, especially in times of pandemic. HANSA-FLEX was easily able to quickly adapt its processes to the new requirements.
